Phew! It’s been a fun week at Buddytruk as we ramp up to help you with your holiday delivery! Let’s take a look at this week’s shenanigans.
Buddytruk in the LA Business Journal
Turns out our free Christmas tree delivery with Whole Foods has turned quite a few heads and made the news! Monday’s edition of the LA Business Journal featured Buddytruk (subscription required) and highlighted our holiday spirit mission of helping you bring your Christmas trees home for free. Pick up Monday’s copy to see how we’re changing the landscape of moving and delivery in Los Angeles (and the world, soon enough!).
We’ve partnered with Whole Foods in Santa Monica and Venice to bring your Christmas trees home for free (or from any other nursery if you share your experience on social media!), and planting a tree for each one sold with the Arbor Day Foundation.
A Sit-down with Sean Burch from Neon Tommy
Old friend Sean Burch from Annenberg Radio News came in to speak with Buddytruk CEO Brian Foley and myself (Adam Jacobs, Content Director extraordinaire) about the good, the bad, and the ugly of founding your own startup.
There’s no other project we would rather be working on than Buddytruk – but that doesn’t mean the startup world is all roses. Check out our feature in Neon Tommy to see what it’s like to build a Silicon Beach startup from the ground up.
Buddytruk Welcomes Back CTO, Ryan Salmons
After many months of working abroad in the far-away land of Austin, Texas, Buddytruk welcomes Buddytruk CTO Ryan Salmons back to our Santa Monica office.
Safe to say, we’re thrilled to have him back in Los Angeles (even if he is a diehard Houston Rockets fan and detests the Lakers).
Meeting up with WestJournal
We also had a chance to meet up with old friend Fernando Mexia of WestJournal about how Buddytruk is helping small businesses with their delivery needs.
