Brian on Annenberg Radio News

In The Press – USC Annenberg Radio News for KXSC

If you know the Buddytruk team (and you’ve been reading all our blogs, so you do… right?!), then you’d know that there’s nothing Brian and the boys would rather do than spend time on college campuses – for two reasons. One, we really miss the glory days of intramural frisbee golf. Two, it’s by far the best way to spread the word on Buddytruk.

This Monday we did exactly that. Buddytruk CEO Brian Foley, Director of Business Development Russell Tuchman, and me, Content Director and dude-writing-this-blog Adam Jacobs, visited the picturesque campus of USC. We spent time handing out Buddytruk flyers, visiting the sights (Tommy Trojan has definitely been hitting the gym), and being interviewed on Annenberg Radio News for USC’s student radio, KXSC.

The Buddytruk team talked all things Buddytruk on KXSC’s Annenberg Radio News – which Russell found to be hilarious.

Once we made our way on campus, we met up with Sean Burch – KXSC producer extraordinaire, who led us to the jaw-dropping media center on campus (side note: as a person with experience in professional radio, this was by far the nicest radio station I’ve ever seen – and it was funded by Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill!).

After making our way inside this gem of a media center (as a UCLA Bruin, I can’t believe I’m lauding anything USC), we were led into the radio booth where Annenberg Radio News anchor Charlie Magovern hosted an interview with the Buddytruk team. The interview went great, the team had some fun talking Buddytruk, and we all realized how vastly different our voices sound on radio.

Even Tommy Trojan could use a bit of Buddytruk help with getting his couch home.

Overall, it was an amazing experience. Sean and Charlie were amazing hosts, the students couldn’t have been friendlier, and the interview turned out great. Wish we could’ve gotten that frisbee golf game in though…
